京都芸術デザイン専門学校 ビジュアルデザインコース 1年 中井陽音
まずは、10日間のインターンシップ、本当にお世話になりました。
学校での授業でWebデザインを主に勉強していた僕にとって、とても身になる仕事内容でした。
インターンシップ最初のお仕事は、京都市内のお店を掲載しているイータイムのマップを作成するための調査でした。
河原町通や先斗町通を360°カメラで撮影し、どのお店が閉店しているのか、新たに開店したお店はあるのかを、動画を見てマップに記入していきました。昨今の新型コロナウイルスの影響もあり、様々な店舗が閉まっていたり新たな店舗に変わったりと、少し散策しただけでも現在の状況が痛いほど伝わってきました。ですが老舗や人気のある店舗は今もなお根強く開店していたりと、様々な発見ができました。特に先斗町通に大きな変化が見られなかったことが印象に残っています。京の風情を守る為に様々なお店が力を入れてらっしゃるのかなと感じました。
他にも、工務店さんの新ホームページのAdobe XDを使用したデザイン提案、他の工務店さんのサイトをリデザインしながらデザインについて学ばせていただきました。
工務店とはどういった仕事をされているのか？詳しく調べて分析し、1からトップページのワイヤーフレームを作成しました。ワイヤーフレームは学校の授業でも作成していたのですが、そのページを「見る」側の人、つまりお客さん側のことを考えて作成した事はなかったので、サイトの幅や文字の大きさを指摘していただいたのは盲点で、僕にとってとてもありがたいアドバイスでした。これからデザインをする時に参考にさせていただこうと思いました。
そして、ワイヤーフレームの時にいただいたアドバイスを元に、より見やすくなることを考えリデザインを施しました。
文字の大きさ、改行や幅感等を意識して作成しました。自分で言うのもなんですが、要点を絞ってよりシンプルにして、とても見やすいサイトを作成できたなと思います。
アドバイスが的確で、指摘していただいた部分を修正するたびにより見やすいものになりました。
授業でもサイトのリデザインはしたことがあったのですが、デザイン性だけを意識して作成していたので、新たな視点でリデザインをするのはとても楽しかったです。
10日間のインターンシップはあっという間でした。
Webデザインとはどういったものなのかという基礎の部分から改めて教わり、授業でやっていたデザインとは違う視点でのお客様を意識してのデザインをさせていただきました。本場の仕事の空気を肌で感じたこのインターンシップでの貴重な体験は、とても充実したものでした。改めて、本当にありがとうございました。
