どうも、制作部の森です。
突然ですが、絵はお好きでしょうか？
絵と一言で言っても、日本画や洋画、人物、風景、抽象から漫画やアニメ、ゲームで使用されている様な物まで色々です。
そんな絵ですが、共通している事があります。
それは、「何かしら画材が使われている」です。
PCでの作業に移行されつつある昨今ですが、アナログ画材を中心に簡単な紹介とか出来れば良いなと思います。
「そんなの常識やろ」と言う様な事も多々あるかと思いますが、温かい目で見て頂ければ幸いです。
では、今回紹介させて頂く物は
鉛筆です。
炭素を顔料にして紙との摩擦で粒子を付着させる事で線を引く事が出来ます。
芯の濃さは、一般的には9H~H、F、HB、B~6Bまでの17種類ありますが、メーカーによっては10Bや10Hまで販売している所もあります。
ちなみに、Hはhard、Fはfirm、Bはblackの頭文字です。
形は、3本指で持ちやすく転がりにくいと言う理由で、6角形が主流になっているそうです。
デッサンやクロッキーで使われたり、何かしらの下書きで使用される事の多いthe文房具ですが、
削るのが面倒、キャップが無いと保管しづらい等の理由でシャーペンにお株を取られている感が否めません。
シャーペンより柔らかい線が引けて、消しゴムで消しやすいですけどね・・・
そんな鉛筆を使用した小ネタを1つ
手作りハンコ等を作られる時、「紙に下書きはしたけど写せない」と困った事はありませんか？
「カーボン紙を使う」
1番手っ取り早いんですが、欲しい時に限って無いカーボン紙なので、鉛筆で代替します。方法は簡単です。
「下書きの裏を鉛筆で真っ黒にしてから、線をなぞる」です。
上の面を黒くした紙を下敷きにして線をなぞると、下書きの裏面に反転させる事が出来ます。
素材にもよりますが、この方法で写す事が出来ます。
簡単ではありますが、鉛筆の紹介でした。
